Practice Makes Perfect: The Spanish Subjunctive Up Close

Practice Makes Perfect: The Spanish Subjunctive Up Close

Chapter 1: When to use the subjunctive and how to form its four tenses

-Present subjunctive (ex. tu/poder ...puedas)

-Imperfect Subjunctive (ex. tu/poder... pudieras)

-Present Perfect Subjunctive (ex. tu/poder... hayas podido)

-Pluperfect Subjunctive (ex. tu/poder... hubieras podido)

I will probably need to do another couple chapters before I start really understanding when to use each!

The Everything Learning Brazilian Portuguese Book
Chapter 10:

  • Conjugating -er and -it verbs (present tense)
  • Family relations vocabulary
  • Using "ter"

My book "Demystifying Spanish Grammar" explains the subjunctive as well. I posted excerpts of my book in my blog here:
