I have basically almost finished this and it's all I have been using in the past while to learn Portuguese...

Chapter 11
-Introducing the verbs haver (to exist/have), fazer (to do/make), acabar (to finish( and saber and conhecer (to know)
-Expressions using these common verbs
-conjugation, a clear explanation of the difference between saver and conhecer...
-"Special" verbs are introduced which need modification in the first person singular.

Chapter 12
This is the "verb reference" chapter...
-Present tense
-Preterit and imperfect past tenses
-Future and conditional tenses
There are good explanations and examples as well as exercises

Chapter 13
-Past participles
-Passive voice
-Using 2 verbs together
-Reflexive verbs
There are good explanations and examples as well as exercises

Chapter 14
-Negative words and constructions
-positive vs. negative
-double negative constructions

Chapter 15
-questions and exclamations
-exercises

Chapter 16
-Future tense
-Personal Infinitive (rare tense gramatically... but explained well)
-Impersonal assertations
-weather and clothing

Chapter 17
-Imperative and subjunctive constructions (basic)

-Chapter about culture (I liked this one!) about Carnaval, food, music, soccer...

Chapter 19
-More about conversation... conversation starters, farewells, communication by mail, writing a letter, making phone calls
-expressions with "estar com" and "ter" that many people use...
-difference between using "ficar", "tornar-se" and "fazer-se" for "to become"
-formal vs. informal phrases, questions, etc...

So, I only have Chapter 20 to read for tomorrow. After I'll probably do more Pimsleur lessons.
